What It Is: A generous, rich serum that revitalizes and enriches skin, leaving it with an unprecedented glow.
What It Does: Inspired by the beauty of the golden hour in the Swiss alps, La Prairie seeks to recreate its unique radiance and impart it to skin as if lit form within with the Pure Gold collection. Infused with La Prairie's proprietary Pure Gold Diffusion System and the Exclusive Cellular Complex, this serum is designed to smooth the skin and refine its texture, revitalize its appearance and help even its tone. The Pure Gold collection has been developed for devitalized skin—skin that is fragile, thin, dull and dry. When skin is devitalized, it becomes less receptive to nutrients, leading to a slowing down of the renewal process. For skin to function more efficiently, it needs to be constantly exposed to active ingredients. The Pure Gold Diffusion System leverages the unique properties of gold as a vehicle for powerful actives to deliver three peaks of action to the skin. First is the immediate deposition of gold on the skin's surface upon application, offering instant radiance. An intense infusion of replenishing active ingredients follows. Finally, a steady release of the replenishing active ingredients linked to gold particles over the course of the day completes the sequence and ensures skin is continually replenished.
How To Use: Apply morning and night after cleansing and toning skin. Dispense 1–2 drops from the pipette onto your fingertips. Gently warm between your fingers and begin massaging into skin in a circular motion, from the forehead, along the bridge of your nose to your cheeks and along your jawline to your chin. Follow with the eye cream and face cream.

La Prairie: La Prairie skin care, makeup and fragrance represent an exquisite fusion of Swiss science, art and rare ingredients. The brand traces its origins to 1930s Switzerland, where a doctor at Clinique La Prairie pioneered cellular anti-aging therapies. La Prairie became the first brand to apply this research to skin care, infusing collections with their exclusive Cellular Complex.
