Hand Position: 

For Precise and Detailed Application:

Hold brush at the center of handle or closer to the ferrule. Pinch brush handle between thumb and middle finger.  

For added control, also use pointer finger with a light touch on handle, this will act more as a “guide” during application. It should feel like you are balancing the brush.  

To Blend and Diffuse:

Hold brush with a loose grip, close to the end of handle and lightly pinch between thumb, pointer, and middle finger. This will provide the most “painterly” result.

Care & Cleaning: We recommend cleaning your brushes before first use. To clean, run the brush under lukewarm water while massaging the bristles. Add a dime-sized amount to a bowl of lukewarm water using a gentle facial cleanser. Gently swirl brush tips in the water, then in the palm of your hand to work up a lather. Rinse the brush tips under running water once again until the water runs clear. With a clean cloth, wipe the brushes clean and reshape the bristles. Lay flat on the fabric to completely dry. Follow these easy steps to remove makeup and dirt as often as needed to keep your brushes clean and ready for use.
